Who we are
International Women’s Club of Torino is an English speaking club with
members representing over 30 nationalities.
Our Purpose
We are a self-governing non-profit organisation that promotes friendship and
understanding between its members and the Italian community. Events are organized
regularly to provide opportunities for members to meet for social, cultural
and sporting purposes and to undertake community service in and around Turin.
Our Membership
We welcome anyone who has a good speaking knowledge of English and also shares and supports the goals of the Organisation.
Fawco Member
IWCT is also an associate member of FAWCO (Federation of American Women's
Club Overseas, Inc.). We are part of a network of over 70 FAWCO clubs around
the world who exchange information and ideas and collectively raise tens of
thousands of dollars in donations to education and women and children's issues.
FAWCO is also a NGO, non-governmental organization with a consultative status
to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
