TORINO TALKS

With the co-operation of the Turin Palace Hotel Board in Autumn 2005 we started to organise a monthly dinner at the Turin Palace Hotel, which we have called "Torino Talks" - Dinner with a Guest Speaker.

This event is open to everybody, women and men and our goal is to give life to a network between "Torinesi" and the International Community in Torino. Speeches are in English.

The first Guest Speaker was the General Manager of Coca Cola - Italia. The second Guest Speaker was a Director from NBC, American TV. The third Guest Speakers were the President of the Paralympic Games in Torino and a Colonel from Italian Security. After the Olympic Games the Guest Speaker was an FBI Agent. In May there was a Lt. Colonel on behalf of Generale Graziano who spoke about their six months of peace mission in Afghanistan and in June we had a Journalist on food and wine, hotels and restaurants, a Grand Chef and also a Wine Producer from Alba.

In October 2006, we will have The Dir. General from AURORA, the renowned Fountain Pen manufacturer in Torino and in November the Son of Audrey Hepburn and Mel Ferrer will talk about his book he wrote about his parents.
